Deactivate talking back
Q: The TeleFairy pronounces the channel name while switching to another channel. This can be comfortable for many users but not for everybody.
A: You can deactivate this option:
1. Open the main menu on the TV screen with the left arrow key of the remote control (TeleFairy should be active)
2. Click on the menu entry "TeleFairy" below
3. Click in the opened settings menu on the entry "Accessibility"
4. Deactivate the option "Talk back"

Can't log into the TeleFairy box
Please, notice, the following web pages have their own user management / login / registration. You need in each case an account there.
A) www.shop.fernsehfee.de (The shop of TCU. Amazon and eBay buyers have here no account)
B) www.forum.fernsehfee.de (Here some users would like to post anonymously)
C) http://www.telefairy.com/login/ (This account is also used in / for the TeleFairy box)
At first this seems irritating. However, this is desired by many users with regard to anonymity.
The Personal-TV (on-line setting of the TV wishes) is located also at the web page www.telefairy.com.
You cannot log into the TeleFairy box using your access data from A) and B). Of course, you can choose the same combination "e-mail / password" for all 3 systems. Nevertheless, you must register yourself once with all three accounts.

TeleFairy doesn't update
A: An update can be not successful because of not enough free space on the storage. This can happen if no USB stick is used and there is no free space on the SD card.
Solution: Open an App "File-Browser" and choose SD card there. Have a look at the files that can be removed. That can be, for example, your old recordings. Select the files you would like to delete, change to the edit mode and delete files. Update file requires at most 10 MB of free space.
Check server login: Check, please, whether the web site www.telefairy.com/login is on-line and you can log in.

Streaming via Network Attached Storage (NAS)
Forum-User Sathras announced the following solution:
Streaming from NAS works perfectly. No matter whether AVI, MPEG or HD MKV (the M2TS file in the container MKV), everything starts fast and nothing jerks.
(Because streaming was already a topic. I use a NAS with DLNA and have installed MediaHouse on the box. As a player I use the MX Player)

Video mode can't be shown
Tip from the forum (for TeleFairy 2.0 Double Core):
I had to switch off the TeleFairy box (pulling out the power plug). Then I plugged it back and had kept the power button pressed until the secure menu opened. I clicked "Reboot system now" there and the box started again absolutely normally.
