TeleFairy 3.0 (Quad Core)
Attention: Account data, WiFi data and all settings will be deleted.
TeleFairy Updater and TeleFairy must be updated after installation of the firmware.
You can save Apps with help your Google-Account before.
So you can install the new firmware:
1. Download file (s. below)
2. Copy file to an USB stick
3. Open Apps, start "Upgrade" and click on "Local update"
4. Choose and flash "tc_firmware_...img" (if not available, press 10 times on the button "MENU" of the remote-control)
5. Wait for a new start
6. Start the App "Update (TeleFairy)"

If the device doesn't start at all:
1. Pull out the power plug
2. Insert and hold a paper clip into the small hole between HDMI and LNB-IN
3. Insert the power plug
4. Wait some seconds
5. Remove the paper clip
6. Device will start in the "Recovery Mode".
7. Insert USB stick
8. Apply update from EXT
9. Update from udisk (USB)
10. Flash "tc_firmware_20140819.img"
11. Flash "tc_patch_1a.img"
12 "Reboot system now to start
13. Start the App "Update (TeleFairy)"

If you start the box and see the home screen with the space design, everything is OK. You should only check the version of the firmware. Open Android settings and do to the menu entry "About MediaBox". This version should be 17-05-2013. You need only to set Internet connection (either WiFi or Ethernet), create an account at TeleFairy page and update the App by clicking the App "TeleFairy Updater". Make sure before updating, that the box has Internet connection. If the box can't connect to the Internet, restart the box, please.
If the box doesn't start or the version of the firmware is old, you need to install the new firmware:
1. Download files telecontrol_17052013.zip (firmware) and factory_update_param.aml (s. above)
2. Copy files to an USB stick
3. Insert USB stick into the box
4. Press power button and insert the power plug
5. Keep the power button pressed until you will see a robot with a rotating gear
6. If the Android robot will not appear after 40 seconds, try to install the firmware from the SD card.
6.1 Copy files to a SD card
6.2 Edit the file "factory_update_param.aml" writing "package=/sdcard/..." instead of "package=/udisk/..."
6.3 Insert SD card into the box
6.4 Press power button and insert the power plug
6.5 Keep the power button pressed before you will see a robot with wheel
6.6 If the Android robot will not appear during 40 seconds, the box is faulty
7. Wait for a new start
8. Set Internet connection and start the App "TeleFairy Updater"
